Over 90 years of data on development aid and its effect on economic development, indicate that the traditional donor model requires adjustment and re-imagining. In a quest to find high-impact, non-political solutions to some of the world's most pressing social-economic and environmental issues, I attended the University of Oxford's SAID Business School. I entered with the conviction that it was time for a collective commitment to a future for our children, that is centered on the common good. And I left with an entire eco-system of knowledge, approaches, methods, resources and insights that would further help me to use Investment Capital as a deliberate and proactive enablers for transformative, inclusive development. Thanks to my time at Oxford, and my attendance of the Oxford Impact Investment Programme, I now run a Development Advisory and Development Financing Corporation that provides for-profit, sustainable solutions to global challenges by combining the power of capital with intention. Reshaping economic development and development aid is my mission, and my transformation at Oxford now helps me to continue to contribute to a different future context of our world.
